Interested in Membership of AOSSC?

A. Background:

The memorandum of collaboration was signed by 10 founding members and Asian Open Source Software Centers aiming at promoting the adoption and development of OSS applications, facilitating information and knowledge exchanges, and development of human resources in OSS among Asian countries.

Any organization in line with AOSSC mission can apply for membership with no financial obligation. Please see details below:  

B. Procedures of application:

1. Please fill in the information sheet attached with details about your organization, how is your organization be involved in promoting and developing OSS in your respective countries
2. Upon receiving your application form, the secretariat will pass that the host country of coming AOSSC meeting (usually held twice a year), which will initially access and then send invitation to your organization to attend our closed-door meeting as observer first.
3. Your organization will be invited to attend AOSSC meeting (as observer) and present to the attending country/region members. Also through the interaction and meeting process, your organization will have a good chance to understand and know more about AOSSC members

If application is accepted, your organization will be required to sign the MOC to become members (which does not involve any financial obligations to enjoy the benefits of the network). (Note: the founding members reserve the right to evaluate, accept or reject the application).
